Our Story

When our family took over Carson Valley Golf Course in 1983, it needed more than a makeover. Along with many course improvements, we started with a small fleet of YAMAHA G1 golf cars. That fleet served us well and proved to be the most reliable part of the course in those early years.

YAMAHA golf cars are built to last and we have been able to depend on them for many years. 25 years later we still had some of the original carts. Additionally, in the 39 years of running and repairing YAMAHA golf cars, we have never had to open a single engine for repairs.  That's a big deal and a big cost savings in the world of golf cars!

After seeing the reliability of YAMAHA golf cars we created a business where we could grow the family and share our love of YAMAHA. So when YAMAHA asked us to take on a new golf car dealership, it just made sense. In 2007 Mountain Golf & Utility Cars was created to serve all of northern Nevada and the eastern Sierras.

Through the years we've built our golf course into Carson Valley's favorite golf course through our commitment to our customers and providing a good product at a fair price.
